Explore Seerah and Islamic history with sources in view

These three history tools offer different ways into a source reading. Follow selected moments from the Prophet's life, work through an evidence-reading case, or compare records from Islamic civilization across regions. Choose chronology for orientation and a case when you want to examine what a particular report supports.

Choose a task before a tool

A displayed date and a source report do not always have the same precision. Conventional years, broad periods and historical uncertainty are identified in the notes. A timeline connection or an overlap between date bands should not be treated as evidence of contact or causation by itself.

Follow an event into its reports

  1. Interactive Seerah Timeline

Questions before you begin

Are these complete history courses?

No. They are selected reading tools. The Seerah timeline and casebook focus on particular events and questions, while the civilization timeline presents twenty-four selected records across nine regions.

What should I check before treating a date as exact?

Read the individual event's dating and source notes. A report may support an event without giving its displayed calendar year. The tools retain that distinction rather than making every record appear equally precise.
